Course Details

Team Test Preparation has chosen to take a specific strategy in preparing students for the SAT Reasoning Test.  Most college-bound students, besides studying hard to keep honor roll GPA's, have very busy schedules.  They are playing sports, involved in drama or music performances, volunteering in community service programs, working part-time and more.  Our INTENSIVE WORKSHOP, a six-hour coaching course, is designed for students with limited time, who want to maximize the time they spend in preparation for the SAT Reasoning Test.  The INTENSIVE WORKSHOP offers an economical and effective way for local students to improve their SAT Reasoning Test scores.

Although the range of improvement by our students varies with motivation and skill level, many of our students have improved their scores by as many as 200 to 300 points and in a few cases....MORE.  We are so confident in the success rate of our course....we guarantee you will increase your score!  If not, you can retake the workshop for FREE!

The INTENSIVE WORKSHOP will focus on the following:

• Time-saving hints
• General test-taking strategies, we call "testwiseness"
• General multiple-choice strategies
• Strategies for the critical reading and writing sections
• Suggestions to guide you to write your best essay
• Review of all math skills, especially the advanced math concepts
• Reduction of test anxiety

SUGGESTED PREPARATION PRIOR TO ATTENDING THE INTENSIVE WORKSHOP

In addition to taking our INTENSIVE WORKSHOP, Team Test Preparation encourages students to spend some time in the months prior to taking the SAT Reasoning Test in preparation for this important test.  Clicking on our REGISTER FOR SAT link takes you to the College Board home page, where there is a link entitled Prepare for the new SAT (light blue in color).  Using the suggested resources (online or a book which you must purchase), we suggest you take several practice tests which can be very helpful in raising your score.  In our INTENSIVE WORKSHOP, held during the week of the test, Team Test Preparation will then put the "finishing touches" on your preparation for the SAT Reasoning Test.
